When you buy a Key West Deep Sea Fishing Charter, you get 4, 6 or 8 hours of world-class offshore fishing for yourself and up to five other anglers. During your fishing charter, you may encounter species such as

Parking anywhere in Key West is somewhat of a challenge.  "Old Town" is the heart of Key West, where most shops, galleries, and  the Historical Seaport is located. This is where most island activities/excursions depart from. The streets have pay-by-block parking meters – these take cash, quarters, or credit/debit cards. We suggest you bike, walk, ride scooters, or take a taxi to the docks and just leave your car at your hotel accommodation. If that is not an option, the streets do have pay parking lots and metered parking spaces. Some City of Key West marinas have free parking for fishing charter boat clients. • Do I need to buy a fishing license? No. The captain’s license covers all fishing on the boat.
• What is the length of the trips offered? 1/2 Day Trips = 4 Hours 3/4 Day Trips = 6 Hours Full Day Trips = 8 Hours
• What experience level is necessary? From novice to expert, anglers with any level of fishing experience are welcome.
• How many anglers can fish? Offshore boats can accommodate up to 6 people.
• Are food and beverages included? No. You are responsible for your own food and beverage.
• Are alcoholic beverages allowed on board? Yes. Mild beverages (i.e. Beer, Wine, Wine Coolers, Ciders, Hard Lemonade) are allowed. No glass beverage bottles are permitted! All beverages must come in either cans or plastic containers.
• Is fishing gear provided? Yes. You’ll use the latest and best tackle on the market today. All line is changed on a regular basis. However, you are always welcome to bring your favorite rod and reel if you like.
• What kind of clothing should you bring? We recommend you cover up as much as the weather will allow. You may need a lightweight jacked during the winter months. Always bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock to protect yourself from our tropical sunshine.
• What kind of shoes should I wear? Any closed toe, non-black soles will be fine.
• What is the cancellation policy regarding weather? The trip may be canceled by captain’s consent only. This will be the day of the charter at the dock.
• Can I have a replica mount made of my fish? Yes. Gray Taxidermy can arrange have your trophy sent home to brag about forever.
• How much of a gratuity is considered customary? If you had a great trip and are happy with the service provided, 15-20% of the trip cost is appreciated.

• If your captain cancels the trip due to poor weather you will receive a full refund. If your captain cancels the trip on a "Fishable day" due to reasons out of his control (ex: mechanical problem) we will try to find you a comparable charter.
• You must cancel your charter 72 hours prior to your scheduled date or you will be held responsible for the remaining balance UNLESS your guide is able to schedule a new customer.
• To cancel your reservation for any reason, you must contact our office directly, at 888-667-4386. Cancellations made via email are not valid, will not be honored and you will still be financially responsible for any charges incurred.
