Never been diving but want to give it a try? No time to get certified on this visit? Discover our Dive in a Day SCUBA Course – from pool instruction to the reef all in one day! This one day course includes the instruction session, all equipment and 2 guided dives on the shallow reef. Everything you need to dive in a day is included!

Your morning confined water instruction session is an introduction to the skills of diving where you’ll put on SCUBA gear, learn the basics of diving and practice breathing underwater.

In the afternoon, you’ll go out and dive the reef with an instructor for an experience of a lifetime! So what if don’t have time to take a three or four day certification course? No worries! If your time in Key West is limited, you can take the Dive in a Day Resort Course, and you’ll be hovering underwater with help from SCUBA equipment after just 2 hours of swimming pool instruction.

What's Included

Tanks, Weights, & Weight Belt Included. Fully equipped professional dive training facility and has been a PADI 5 Star Dive Center for more than two decades. Classes are small and personal and start every day. The pool and classroom are conveniently located in a lush, quiet tropical environment downtown.

Details

Even complete beginners can experience the wonder of our barrier reef —the only living coral reef in North America — with help from an expert instructor, who will guide you through two one-tank reef dives after you’ve successfully completed your swimming pool training. You could see hundreds of different varieties of fish on the reef, along with colorful corals and other sea creatures. Your actual dive location will be chosen that day, to provide you with the most fun (and safe) experience, based on conditions in the water.You’ll head out to Key West’s incredible barrier reef on the M/V Phoenix, a 46-foot Newton Custom Dive Boat that offers everything you need for a comfortable and exhilarating reef dive, including fresh water showers, fresh water hose, restroom, and ample storage space for gear and dry bags.

Know Before You Go

The Sea Eagle is a Newton 46’ Dive Special. This dive boat is roomy & comfortable. She has 2 levels so that our guests can enjoy plenty of sunshine or stay in the shade. Amenities include a camera table & rinse bins, two large dive ladders, swim platform, enclosed marine head (bathroom), fresh water showers, spacious bow, and state of the art electronics. She uses twin Cummins engines which supply over 800hp. This custom dive boat has every amenity a diver needs!

Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, you must cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to departure time or your credit card will be charged the full price of the tour. Please call 888-667-4386 to reschedule. If your tour operator cancels for any reason, including weather, you will receive a full deposit refund. All cancellations be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time to receive a full refund. Any cancellations made same day or with less than 24-hour notice for tickets purchased or held will be charged in full and are nonrefundable. TRIPS BOOKED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Important Medical Information

You are responsible to make sure you are medically qualified to participate in this activity. This is for your safety. A medical history form must be completed by all divers prior to participating in this activity. To qualify to dive - a diver must be certified to dive (you must present your identification, and your certification card at check-in) medically fit, not be flying within 24 hrs after completion of dive trip. (no existing, heart, lung or severe sinus issues.)
