Jet Ski Rules & Regulations

REQUIRED

Name on credit card used to pay for booking must match your valid government-issued photo ID and both must be presented at check-in
All adults must present valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. No photocopies will be accepted
Minimum early check-in of 30 minutes required for all guests. Minimum 60 minutes required for in-person Boaters Safety Test.

GUESTS CANNOT PARTICIPATE IF

Operator of Jet Ski is unable to quickly follow any spoken instructions in the English language
Are over 18 years old and do not have a valid government-issued photo ID with date of birth and valid credit card
Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol (passenger or driver)
If you are seen with alcohol in your possession, you will be denied the right to participate
Are pregnant or have any existing medical conditions that put them or others at risk
Are 3 years of age or younger

BOATERS SAFETY TEST

Required for guests who are born IN or AFTER 1988 and do not have a Florida Boaters Safety License
If taking Boaters Safety Test in person, guest must arrive 60 min. prior to scheduled departure time
It is recommended to take the test online before checking in. (Licensing fees apply)

Ticket and Boarding Information

Early check in is required for all tours. Tours missed are non-refundable. For Jet Ski Tours, please arrive at least 1 hour prior to departure time to complete a Boaters Safety Test. All trips leave the dock promptly at the specified time. At check-in, you will be asked to present your credit card and a matching form of valid picture ID.

Credit Card and matching ID will be required at check-in for all Jet Ski Tours and Ultimate Adventure. All guests 18 years and older must have valid government issued photo ID to board Jet Ski Tours. Minors must be accompanied by their actual parent.

Reservation Policy

Every guest, including young children, must have a reserved ticket to board any tour.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations be made 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure time to receive a full refund. Any cancellations made same day with less than 4-hour notice for tickets purchased or held will be charged in full and are nonrefundable. TRIPS BOOKED WITHIN 4 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Weather & Conditions Policy

Tours will not depart in unsafe weather conditions. Should the Captain assess the weather and determine that conditions are unsafe, the tour may be postponed or cancelled. Every effort will be made to reschedule your tour during your stay. If a trip or rental is canceled by Fury Water Adventures for any reason and you cannot reschedule, you will be refunded the full amount of the tour.

Every effort will be made to run tours, as advertised. Should Fury have to amend or alter your tour due extraneous circumstances tickets remain non-refundable on tours taken.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol cannot be consumed prior to participating in any activity. Guests arriving to check in with alcohol in their possession or under the influence will be restricted from entering the water, turned away or required to reschedule. Tickets are non-refundable.

HOW MANY MILES IS THE JET SKI TOUR?

Approximately 28 miles

CAN 3 PEOPLE FIT ON A JET SKI?

Yes, as long as the weight does surpass 460 lbs. (If you are going to ride with three passengers, we recommend that it is only 1 adult and 2 small children or 2 Adults and 1 small child.)

WHAT WILL I SEE ON THE JET SKI TOUR?

While every tour is different based on marine and weather conditions, our guides will make 3-5 stops at different points of interest and share facts about certain areas. There is a possibility of spotting our local sea life like bottlenose dolphins or sea turtles but it is not guaranteed.

HOW FAST CAN I GO ON A JET SKI TOUR?

They can reach speeds of approximately 45 miles per hour.

DO YOU CHARGE PER JET SKI OR PER PERSON?

We charge per jet ski.

CAN WE SWITCH OFF DRIVING DURING THE TOUR?

Yes, we make multiple stops during the tour in which you can change drivers.

DO YOU PROVIDE PARKING?

No, we do not provide parking at any of our check-in locations, but you can use street parking, pay to park lots or parking garages.

ARE JET SKI TOURS FUN FOR CHILDREN?

Yes, but we do have some rules. Guests ages 4-13 are not allowed to operate a Jet Ski under any circumstances, but are more than welcome to accompany an adult. Guests 14-15 years of age may operate a Jet Ski with another person on the ski who is at least 18 years of age & meets the required criteria. A natural parent must be present to sign paperwork at check in. After obtaining a Boater Safety License, guests 16-17 years of age may operate a Jet Ski, when a natural parent signs paperwork at check in.

DO I NEED A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE TO JET SKI?

All adults are required to present their Driver’s License but we also accept other forms of Government Issued photo identification that show your age. Photocopies will not be accepted.

DO YOU PROVIDE LIFE JACKETS FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN?

Yes, we provide life jackets for adults and children.

WHERE DO THE JET SKI TOURS DEPART FROM?

We have a few different departure Locations for our Jet Ski Tours:

Departure Location #1 241 Front Street – Located just behind Opal Key t on the corner of Front St. and Greene St. in the Opal Key Marina. Check-in booths are located on the pier.

Departure Location: 0 Duval Street – Located between Ocean Key Resort & Pier House Resort, at the end of Duval Street.

Departure Location: 617 Front Street – Located on the dock of the Galleon Resort & Marina.

Departure Location: 601 Front Street – Located at the Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa enter through the Hyatt Hotel parking lot, follow the outdoor path past the pool and towards the oceanfront.

CAN I RENT A JET SKI ALONE WITHOUT A TOUR GUIDE?

No. Due to the protected sanctuaries and shallow areas the guided tour is the only option in Key West.
