- Do I need to buy a fishing license? No. The captain’s license covers all fishing on the boat.
- What is the length of the trips offered? 1/2 Day Trips = 4 Hours 3/4 Day Trips = 6 Hours Full Day Trips = 8 Hours
- What experience level is necessary? From novice to expert, anglers with any level of fishing experience are welcome.
- How many anglers can fish? Offshore boats can accommodate up to 6 people.
- Are food and beverages included? No. You are responsible for your own food and beverage.
- Are alcoholic beverages allowed on board? Yes. Mild beverages (i.e. Beer, Wine, Wine Coolers, Ciders, Hard Lemonade) are allowed. No glass beverage bottles are permitted! All beverages must come in either cans or plastic containers.
- Is fishing gear provided? Yes. You’ll use the latest and best tackle on the market today. All line is changed on a regular basis. However, you are always welcome to bring your favorite rod and reel if you like.
- What kind of clothing should you bring? We recommend you cover up as much as the weather will allow. You may need a lightweight jacked during the winter months. Always bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock to protect yourself from our tropical sunshine.
- What kind of shoes should I wear? Any closed toe, non-black soles will be fine.
- What is the cancellation policy regarding weather? The trip may be canceled by captain’s consent only. This will be the day of the charter at the dock.
- Can I have a replica mount made of my fish? Yes. Gray Taxidermy can arrange have your trophy sent home to brag about forever.
- How much of a gratuity is considered customary? If you had a great trip and are happy with the service provided, 15-20% of the trip cost is appreciated.
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation.
- Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
- No-shows will be charged the full price.
