Rules & Regulations

Requirements

• Must have been diving within the past 2 years
• Any divers may choose to be guided for $45 per person
• Must not be flying within 24 hrs after completion of dive trip
• Must be medically fit

Medical Information

• You are responsible to make sure you are medically qualified to participate in this activity.  This is for your safety. A medical history form must be completed by all divers prior to participating in this activity.
• To qualify to dive – a diver must be certified to dive (you must present your identification, and your certification card at check-in) medically fit, not be flying within 24 hrs after completion of dive trip. (no existing, heart, lung or severe sinus issues.)

Safety is # 1 Concern

• Your safety is the dive tour operator’s #1 concern, so all divers must abide by these terms and conditions.
• All divers must be certified, and you must have had at least one dive within the past two years.
• All divers must present certification cards at check-in. (If lost or misplaced, please call ahead of time for verification.)

Cancellation Policy

72 Hours Notice is required to receive a refund. If the Captain cancels for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
SEA SICK NO REFUND, NO SHOW, NO CALL = NO REFUND.

FAQ’S

What kind of dive boat do we go on?

Our boat is a Newton 46’ Dive Special. This dive boat is roomy & comfortable. She has 2 levels so that our guests can enjoy plenty of sunshine or stay in the shade. Amenities include a camera table & rinse bins, two large dive ladders, swim platform, enclosed marine head (bathroom), fresh water showers, spacious bow, and state of the art electronics. She uses twin Cummins engines which supply over 800hp. This custom dive boat has every amenity a diver needs!

Where will we dive?

Marker 32, 9 Foot Stake, Sand Key Lighthouse, Eastern Dry Rocks, Rock Key, Western Sambos, or Cottrell. Your actual dive location will be chosen that day, to provide you with the most fun (and safe) experience, based on conditions in the water.

Can I go if I have never been diving before?

No, you must be certified to dive.

• Reef dives lie in 25-35 feet of water in the Atlantic on the third largest barrier reef in the world. The captain will do his best to take you to the clearest and calmest waters possible.
• During the summer, Key West is known for flat, calm days that lend themselves to the spectacular visibility often excess of 100ft! The reef is approximately six miles offshore of the Florida Keys, about a 35 minute boat ride, and provides a number of locations for diving.
• The Florida Barrier Reef is home to millions of living species. Sites are chosen daily based on local conditions.
• The M/V Phoenix is a 46′ Newton Custom Dive Boat built in 2000. The custom configuration features two dive ladders and a large swim platform at the back of the boat for easy giant stride entries. She also comes equipped with camera table, camera buckets, two fresh water showers, fresh water hose, head, ample storage space for gear and dry bags and state of the art electronics. She is licensed for 40 divers but never carries more than 27 to ensure your comfort and space.
